The Franz & Mytrice Moody Memorial Scholarship(s) - valued at $10,000 each - are awarded annually to an undetermined number of graduating seniors from Chisago Lakes High School.
The number of awards depends on annual investment growth and is determined in the spring of the current school year. The Moody Scholarship is managed by the Chisago Lakes Education Foundation (CLEF) but is a separate funding source from CLEF scholarships.
Students apply for the Moody Scholarship using the online Dollars for Scholars (DFS) application - the same process used for CLEF scholarships. The DFS organization also provides the selection process for the Moody Scholarship awards.
While the Moody Scholarship is primarily based on financial need, other sections of the DFS profile are also considered in the final scoring. Students should carefully follow all DFS profile instructions to ensure their application is complete and accurately reflects their eligibility for the Moody Scholarship.
Eligible applicants must be pursuing post-secondary education in the fall immediately following graduation, at any two-or-four-year public college or university.
