Senior Privileges

What are Senior Privileges? Seniors who meet the criteria to receive their senior privs will have the flexibility to leave campus during open blocks and/or lunch during the school day without daily parent permission or going through the attendance process. 

When will I receive my Senior Privileges? 
Before the start of the school year, all students will receive a letter from the administration regarding the status of their Senior Privileges.

Students who are eligible will receive:

• A letter confirming their Senior Privileges.
• Their Senior Privileges Contract.

Students who are not eligible at the start of the school year will receive a letter explaining why they do not currently qualify for Senior Privileges.

Students who do not receive their Senior Privileges at the beginning of their senior year may become eligible later by resolving the reason(s) identified in their letter.

Earning Your Senior Privs

The following criteria must have been met to receive your privs as you enter school in the fall of your senior year

• Semester 2 (Terms 3 & 4) Attendance - you cannot have more than 12 unexcused period absences and/or tardies.
• Positive school behavior; this includes tobacco violations, repeated structured study visits due to recurring behaviors (disrespect, non-compliance, etc.) or other major violations.
• All Class Fees, books and materials returned to teachers and the media center. Fines follow you from MS through your senior year.
• You must pass ALL Classes during the 2nd semester of your Junior year  (terms 3 and 4).
• Credit deficiencies- You must have earned 23 credits towards graduation by July 31, 2026.  (You need 29 credits to graduate).
• No Photo on File - If you did not have a school photo taken during your Junior year, a card was not made for you.  You must have a picture taken during Open House to receive a Gold Senior Priv Card.
